The last get together of our Winter Plein Air grou The last get together of our Winter Plein Air group yesterday. It was so good sitting in the spring sunshine at Moteuka Port. Look forward to joining the summer group next week 😀

The winter plein air group met at Grossi Point, Ma The winter plein air group met at Grossi Point, Mapua this week. Yet another beautiful spot! I used only acrylic this time. I worked on a canvas I'd prepared with collage, which still needs work, but this was a quick one with a palette knife, using up my paint!
My latest painting finally finished. 'The Mystery My latest painting finally finished. 'The Mystery of the Estauries', mixed media on 60 x 60cm canvas. Now to work on the next 2 of the series.
Our first Winter Plein Air session was on a cold b Our first Winter Plein Air session was on a cold but beautifully sunny morning at Busch Reserve. We had a wonderful spot on the rivers edge and I could only see purple and orange wherever I looked. Felt very rusty with my watercolour and ink sketches!
