These are brilliant! Well done everyone and well done Jackie for being such a good teacher. We’re getting some really good artists in the area now. Perhaps we should have a joint exhibition some time:)

I love the colors you’ve chosen for this painting and the perspective you used. It makes me want to hop on a plane and indulge in some Parma delights!

Thanks Jackie for your patience and letting me develope my own style…I could never even get close to what you produce in your own painting, but for me this was a very good introduction how to use acrylic paint. …and surprizingly…ink!

Is this painting still for sale? Is it the original or a print?

Although I’ve never been to the town of Chrisokellaria it is a special place to my family. My
Grandfather (who I never knew) was from this town in Greece. I was adopted as an infant from Greece in the late 50’s into a Greek-American family and raised initiallly in Michigan but spent most of my life in Southern California. The family history is all in this village. My Uncle George Orphan (son of my Grandfather, who resides in Grand Rapids, Mich.) visits the extended relatives in this town every few years and has a big connection to it. In fact he was married in this village in 1967. My wife Chrissa and I plan someday to visit this part of Greece with my Uncle to meet these Greek relatives. I like your artwork and would gladly like to have one if available.

The village of Christokelleria is still a traditional Greek village on the hillside above Koroni, with lots of interesting things to sketch and paint!
