I'm looking forward to some studio time tomorrow to get on to this latest 40 x 40 board. Just a few early marks so far and no blue!

Boards. I've wanted to try painting on 'boards' for ages and after a visit to a local hardware shop I now have 27 - 40 x 40cm plywood boards to play around with! They were initially rather wonky but my lovely hubby saved the day with his superior trimming and sanding skills! This is a WIP on the first one!

This painting has been sitting patiently in the studio during lockdown waiting for me to continue. Since we've been able to use the studio again I've been seeing it out of the corner of eye demanding attention. I wasn't happy with the direction it was heading so yesterday I picked up a big brush and slapped on some white paint. It's still nowhere near finished but it's turned a corner. I wonder if our really cold weather has intervened!
